The OAE and FoHVOS joined partners and friends for a December 2021 Kwanzaa Celebration. Below is a note from Tomia MacQueen and photos from the event.
Asante Sana!
Thank you so much for coming out to celebrate Kwanzaa Ujamaa with us! We hope that you have been as reinvigorated to connect and grow with one another in the truest spirit of Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics) and Nia (purpose) as we have. A very special thank you to Renata Barnes of the Outdoor Equity Alliance, without whom this wonderful event could not have occurred. May you all be blessed with Nia and Imani in the New Year!
Happy Kwanzaa and
Blessed New Year,
