By partnering with other organizations, supporting and promoting each other’s activities, and sharing issues and best practices, more people of all ages, ethnicities, abilities, and income levels are getting out and enjoying the wonders of the outdoors.
Organizational Member Benefits
- OEA offers Organizational Members direct assistance, expert consultation and replicable, scalable solutions for improving outdoor education and access for diverse groups of young people and adults.
- OEA Organizational Members are connected through the OEA organization to an active group of like-minded people doing similar work, committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in the outdoor education, recreation and conservation space. OEA facilitates productive information sharing among its partners.
- OEA staff can assist Organizational Members with their own programs utilizing OEA curricula and resource materials to help promote outdoor equity and diverse involvement in outdoor programs.
- OEA Organizational Members have the opportunity to host OEA Program Interns. Our 2022 Agrihood and Careers in Conservation Internship Programs graduated 36 participants in June 2022!
